Controversial investigative journalist Kemi Olunloyo has once again stirred online commotion, this time alleging that Priscilla Ojo, the daughter of Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, recently welcomed a baby through surrogacy.
In a post shared via her social media pages, Olunloyo claimed that “a popular influencer’s daughter” used a surrogate to have her child later pointing fingers at Priscilla without providing concrete evidence.
While Olunloyo is no stranger to sensational claims, her latest allegation has ignited mixed reactions, with many social media users accusing her of invading privacy and spreading unverified information.
“She didn’t gain weight, no bump, no pregnancy journey. Don’t ask me how I know. Ask Iyabo,” Olunloyo wrote, implying secrecy and cover-up within the Ojo family.
The Ojo household has remained silent on the matter, with neither Priscilla nor Iyabo issuing any public statement in response to the claim. However, fans and netizens have flooded their social media pages with messages of support, urging the family to ignore what they call “a desperate attempt for attention.”
This isn’t the first time Olunloyo has clashed with members of the Ojo family, having previously criticized Iyabo’s activism and involvement in high-profile social justice campaigns.
Media analysts warn that while surrogacy is a personal and legal reproductive choice, continued speculation and public shaming could discourage open conversations about fertility options in Nigeria’s conservative society.
As the story trends across entertainment blogs and gossip platforms, all eyes remain on Priscilla and her mother though insiders say the family may be choosing silence as the strongest response.
