Veteran actor, Yemi Solade, has stirred debate in Nollywood after stating that no actress can afford to purchase a luxury G-Wagon SUV solely from earnings made through acting.
Speaking in a recent interview, Solade emphasized that the Nigerian movie industry, despite its visibility, does not generate enough financial returns to support such extravagant lifestyles for actors and actresses. He suggested that those flaunting high-end acquisitions may have other undisclosed sources of income beyond the film industry.
