Celebrity chef and Guinness World Record holder, Hilda Baci, has called on Lagosians to come with food containers to pick up leftover meals from one of her recent culinary events.
In a viral clip, Baci was seen urging attendees not to let the prepared dishes go to waste. “There’s still food, I can’t waste it. Please bring your coolers,” she pleaded, highlighting her concern about food wastage in a time of rising hunger and high food prices across the country.
Her gesture has been met with applause from fans and social media users, many of whom praised her humility and generosity. Some also noted that the move aligns with growing advocacy against food waste in Nigeria.
