Former Big Brother Naija Season 10 finalist, Dede, has debunked claims that the show’s winner, Imisi, emerged victorious due to regional bias, insisting that her win was purely based on merit and fan support.
In a recent interview, Dede acknowledged the heated reactions that followed the finale but maintained that Imisi’s victory reflected her strong fan base and authentic personality throughout the competition.
“People can say what they want, but Imisi’s win had nothing to do with region or tribe,” Dede stated. “She played her game well, stayed true to herself, and earned people’s love. The votes spoke for themselves.”
The reality star also urged fans to move past divisive narratives and instead celebrate the achievements of all housemates who made the season a success.
“I’m proud of everyone who stepped into that house. We gave the audience great content. There’s no need to turn this into a regional issue,” Dede added.
Imisi’s victory had stirred conversations on social media, with some fans alleging voting irregularities and regional favoritism. However, the show’s organizers have repeatedly assured viewers that the voting process was transparent and verifiable.
Dede, who finished as one of the top finalists, is now channeling his popularity into entertainment projects and endorsements while thanking fans for their unwavering support.
