The Entertainment and Wealth Alliance (EWA) has announced the launch of a new project called the Deal Room, a $25 million funding initiative aimed at accelerating growth and investment in Africa’s rapidly expanding music industry.
According to the organization, the Deal Room will serve as a strategic platform connecting African artists, record labels, investors, and music executives to funding opportunities, partnerships, and business mentorship.
EWA’s executives explained that the initiative is designed to close the financing gap in the continent’s creative economy, helping artists transition from talent development to sustainable business success.
“The Deal Room is about transforming Africa’s music industry from a passion-driven space to a commercially structured enterprise,” said an EWA spokesperson. “We’re creating access to capital, empowering creators, and promoting global competitiveness.”
The $25 million fund is expected to support music production, talent management, digital distribution, and cross-border collaborations, while fostering investor confidence in Africa’s creative sector.
Industry watchers believe EWA’s Deal Room could become a game-changer for artists seeking to scale their careers beyond local markets and tap into international music ecosystems.
