A video alleged to show 2Baba and his wife Natasha Osawaru in a heated confrontation inside a UK shopping mall has re-ignited speculation about serious marital tensions, after reports said the singer was briefly detained.
The footage, shared by blogger Tosin Silverdam on social media, appears to show police officers speaking with 2Baba outside a retail store before escorting him away in handcuffs. According to a former manager, Kaka Igbokwe who was on the same flight with the couple the incident followed what he described as a heated dispute: Natasha reportedly felt abandoned after they landed and 2Baba allegedly rushed back to her too late.
Earlier on Monday evening, the couple’s tension spilled onto a live session hosted by media personality Daddy Freeze. As 2Baba entered the live stream, a heated argument erupted. In moments captured in the background, the singer was heard shouting “Shut the f*** up,” as Natasha demanded control of the phone and asked to “let him see us together.” The live broadcast was terminated abruptly by the host.
Social-media reactions have ranged from concern to criticism. Some worried for the couple’s well-being and called for their privacy, while others faulted the decision to publicise such a dispute.
